DREAMS PUERTO ADVENTURAS

Quitana Roo, Mexico

The group was all excited and ready to start our new adventure in Quintana Roo, Mexico.  Our group was made up of avid travelers most have traveled together before ending up travel buddies and a few new travelers joined in for this trip.  By the end of the trip the whole group felt like family.  We used Apple Vacations for this trip and they arranged our shuttle from the airport to Puerto Adventuras Resort.  Check in was a breeze.  I went straight to see the dolphins on site.  It was magical just sitting there under the palm trees with a pina colada in my hand watching the two dolphins playing in the waters.

Our room was ready by the time I finished my pina colada.  We were on the third floor.  The corridors were airy, clean and nicely decorated.  The room was cooled to the right temperature and had a great view of the grounds and ocean.  The bathroom had a large whirlpool and rain shower and toilet behind a closing door.  The double sink and two very large closets had ample room for two of us to get ready at the same time.  This room was large enough to have a sitting area with a couch and coffee table, flat screen television and a mini refrigerator which was stocked daily with free beverages.  Did I mention the bed? Two queen beds that were the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in.  Slept like a baby every single night we were there.

Beach Time
Dining
They made these specialty liquor coffee right next to the table. We asked for it every night just to watch the coolest fire show.

Dinner On The Beach With Great Entertainment
Activities

The resort offers many free activities.  There were always fun activities being held at the pool including daily water aerobics.  They offered free bike and kayak rentals and small catamaran rides.  Bands playing every night.  Scuba lessons were also offered free of charge.  We also booked a large group catamaran ride which included a stop for snorkeling and then another stop in a bay for paddle boarding or kayaking.  A few from the bunch also booked a session of kayaking and swimming with the dolphins.  Both excursions were amazing and definitely recommended.
